Apple TV has offered a fresh glimpse at the upcoming second season of its critically acclaimed golf comedy, Stick, while revealing a major new addition to its roster. Golden Globe winner and Emmy nominee Rhea Seehorn (Pluribus) joins the cast in a key supporting role, stepping into the shoes of Amanda, a sharp new coach set to shake up the team’s dynamic.
Starring and executive produced by Owen Wilson and created by showrunner Jason Keller, the Apple Studios production expands its ensemble cast alongside returning stars Peter Dager, Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer, and Timothy Olyphant. The nine-episode second season officially premieres globally on Apple TV on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, kicking off with a two-episode debut before shifting to a weekly release schedule through December 30.
The series offers an unconventional look at the professional golf world through the lens of an unlikely makeshift family. Season one introduced audiences to Pryce Cahill (Wilson), a washed-up former prodigy who hit rock bottom two decades after his promising career imploded. After losing his marriage and his job at an Indiana sporting goods retail store, Pryce staked his entire redemption on coaching Santi (Dager), a brilliant but volatile 17-year-old phenom.
Season two ups the ante as Santi transitions into the high-stakes world of professional golf, wrestling with the heavy pressure that comes when raw potential becomes a strict baseline expectation. Meanwhile, Pryce finds his own dormant competitive fire reignited. Spurred on by his old adversary Clark Ross (Olyphant), Pryce makes a daring decision to launch his own improbable playing comeback, setting his sights on becoming the oldest player in history to capture a major championship.
With Amanda (Seehorn) providing tactical direction and his loyal caddie Mitts (Maron) on the bag, Pryce faces a grueling physical and psychological journey that forces him to confront the personal flaws that derailed his original career.
Alongside Seehorn, the second season introduces guest appearances and recurring roles for John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander, and Missi Pyle. The series will also feature returning cameos from iconic sports media figures, including broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman, Good Good content creator Matt Scharff, and golf journalist Dan Rapaport.
